Independent source-based analysis. Research reviewed November 1, 2026. Questions and hypothetical examples below are editorial tools; they are not findings of misconduct. This publication is not affiliated with Carroll Insurance or David B. Carroll.

A useful profile of David B. Carroll starts with a dated, attributable description of his professional role. A name, photograph and search snippet are not enough to establish authority, ownership or responsibility for an individual insurance decision.

BAN’s April 2025 announcement identifies David B. Carroll as President of Carroll Insurance. Read the source.

Read the role before drawing conclusions

A leadership profile should distinguish the person, the agency and the insurers whose contracts are offered. Those are different subjects, and each requires different records. A public title tells readers how an organisation presented someone at a particular time. It does not establish the individual’s involvement in every transaction.

Start with the named source and its publication date, then list the questions it does not answer. Ownership percentages, current signing authority, compensation and responsibility for a specific account need their own supporting documents. Leaving a field unresolved is more useful than filling it with a plausible guess.

Questions to put in the file

  1. Which dated source supports the professional title being used?
  2. What legal entity appears on the proposal or engagement document?
  3. Who is assigned to the account, and who can approve changes?
  4. Which insurer is named in the proposed policy?

A practical worksheet

Record-building checklist
Field What to record
Professional role Dated organisational announcement
Transaction role Named account representative and engagement terms
Contractual insurer Declarations and insurer identification

Worked example

Create a one-page identity sheet with four columns: person, organisation, document and date. Put the BAN announcement in the professional-role row. Put a customer’s actual proposal in a separate transaction row. Do not combine the rows into a claim that the president personally chose, approved or refused particular coverage. This simple separation makes later fact-checking much easier.

What readers can take from this

The profile’s value lies in traceable attribution. Use it as a starting index for further questions, not as a character assessment or a substitute for reviewing an insurance contract.

Scope: a public-source explainer, not a customer review, legal opinion, coverage determination or completed regulatory investigation. Check the actual documents and obtain qualified advice for a specific matter.

Source and verification limits

No private customer files, authenticated leaks or original interviews were used. A public-search gap does not establish that a record does not exist.
